BEINGELITE
Meet Steven Parker

Experience on
both sides
of pressure.

Portrait of Steven Parker

Army Ranger.
Software growth leader.
Team builder.

Steven’s approach to performance began as an Army Ranger in Special Operations, with deployments around the world and experience working with foreign embassies and governments. He led teams of Special Operations soldiers during Operation Guardian Retrieval in Zaire and Operation Silver Wake in Albania. He later brought that foundation into a career leading software sales, customer success, and business development.

With more than 30 years in HR and health technology, he has worked across organizations at different stages, from launching an app business at Chill to roles at Oracle, SumTotal, Virgin Pulse, and Mobile Health. His experience spans venture-backed and private equity-backed businesses, global growth initiatives, and teams at five software companies that went on to successful acquisitions.

At Limeade, he also helped expand delivery to 70+ countries and improve customer NPS by more than 20 points. At Mobile Health, he played a key role on the leadership team that secured its acquisition by H.I.G. Growth Partners.

Being Elite brings that experience to the stage through personal stories and a framework teams can use in their own work. The focus stays on the choices leaders and team members make every day.

For audiences responsible for winning customers, delivering value, and growing lasting relationships.

Helped more than half the Fortune 100 drive better performance through their people.

Army Ranger / Special Operations

Preparation.
Trust.
A shared mission.

Steven led teams of Special Operations soldiers during real-world deployments in Zaire and Albania. Working with foreign embassies and governments, he learned to align people across cultures, adapt as conditions changed, and execute under pressure.

International military recognition. Steven earned the Gold German Armed Forces Parachutist Badge and the Gold German Armed Forces Badge. Earning these awards involved demanding physical and military skills assessments—putting preparation, resilience, and disciplined execution to the test.

Earlier, during jungle operations training in Panama, he was recognized for initiative, technical competence, and maintaining critical communications. That same focus on preparation and dependable execution carries into his work with business leaders today.

A message grounded in experience

Real stories.
Useful conversations.

From the stage to the conversation afterward, Steven connects the principles of elite performance to the work people do every day.

Five companies. Five successful exits.

From building growth
to creating lasting value.

Steven’s first software company exit was Taleo’s acquisition by Oracle in 2012, announced at approximately $1.9 billion, net of cash and debt. At the time, Taleo served more than 5,000 enterprises and its cloud managed 15% of all U.S. hires.

Across venture-backed, private equity-backed, and public companies, he has worked with founders and leadership teams to build the people, customer relationships, and systems that support growth. That operating experience connects Being Elite to the commercial pressures your audience faces every day.
